Hello circus families!
Our circus curriculum includes more than movement skills, it contributes to a holistic physical education
As we begin the new session of classes we have some fun options for creating and collaborating. Circus offers a unique and valuable opportunity for social emotional growth to our students!
A couple of our classes last session included collaborative warm ups where students were prompted to listen and communicate without words, to pay attention to one other person and then to all of the group to coordinate movements and bring balance to the moment, even with all the differences between peoples.
Performances offer a space for people to gain recognition for their hard work and praise for expressing themselves in a healthful way.
Anime(ation) - FC3 student December 2021 Showcase - Dec. 16th, 17th, and 18th.
Our space will be transformed into a theater. We will have special lighting and effects, stage design, and a special "backstage" area for performers to build comradery and ready themselves to be a spectacle.
Because our student body is so large we split the group into separate show nights. Your student will need to attend a 20 minute tech/dress rehearsal and one of the show dates during show week. I will send a specific schedule once registration has been completed.
If your student does not feel ready to perform they do not have to!! We want this to be a safe place for people to be true to themselves. Encouragement, but No trauma, Please!

You may also opt to attend the circus show as a spectator!
Tickets: Purchase through VAMP ; follow Buy Tickets for an Event link. Options include Anime(ation) Circus! Thursday 12/16, Friday 12/17, or Saturday 12/18. If you have family and friends who want to see the show you can reserve tickets for them and have them pay at the door!
